Donald Trump has demonstrated every symptom of both Narcissistic Personality and Oppositional Defiant Disorders and it seems that at least half of this country couldn't care less. I say some consciousness-raising is in order, and to that end I've created a short video demonstrating what it looks like when a relatively mature person experiences a disappointment or genuine loss. This election is a battle between those who experience Trump's combative blustering as protective of them....and those who experience it as a self-protective cover for any sign of human vulnerability. Let's help America choose a grownup for president.

Don't you want a grown up for president? Consider this. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote but didn't have enough electoral votes to win the presidency. She wasn't happy about it at all, but she didn't have a hissy fit carrying on that the election was rigged. In April of this year, trailing the Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout was up at bat in the 9th, bases loaded, hoping desperately for a home run to even the score. He struck out and felt terrible, but we have found no evidence suggesting that Mike Trout called the umpire a crook. In June of this year, after the debate, Joe Biden had to face the fact that he was no longer going to run for a second term. He was devastated. But he neither demonized his advisers nor got rid of them. And Joe Biden didn't go beg a neuropsychologist in Georgia to raise his cognitive scores 11,000 points. These are examples of what it means to be a grown up, what it looks like to take responsibility for yourself when things don't turn out the way you'd like. Calling people crooks and losers and automatically insisting you've been cheated if you don't like what's happening are all indications of a remarkable lack of maturity. In fact, Donald Trump is now blaming January 6th on former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Sadly, he knows no other way, really. Think about it, don't you want a grown up for president? If you want a grown up vote for Kamala Harris.

Red Flags - Keep Your Eyes and Heart Open!🇺🇸We are in a season where so many people feel ANXIETY and FEAR about this election It’s impacting every aspect of their lives. Last night we talked about what to do when Personal Attacks * Example: Calling other candidates "stupid," "horrible," "awful," "the worst." * Explanation: Focus should be on issues and policies rather than personal attacks.Inconsistent "Rules of the Road" * Example: Creating rules that only apply when they benefit, and getting mad when those rules hurt them. * Explanation: Fairness and consistency are crucial for credibility.Projection * Example: Accusing others of actions or faults they themselves are responsible for. * Explanation: This tactic deflects responsibility and can be a sign of narcissism.Disrespect and Hate Language * Example: Using slurs and hate language. * Explanation: Disrespect undermin…

When someone questions why you're discussing politics on LinkedIn, claiming it's a professional platform:1. Take a moment to breathe.2. Explain that it's not about politics; you're advocating to stop a genocide. (If I'm witnessing crime, should i stay silent under the guise of politics? or to say no! stopthis immediately!)3. Block him.4. Block him again if you can 😝

As people of conscience, we are not impulsive and naive. We are very aware that a hopelessly committed murder cannot be stopped by the hands of individuals. That's why we go to those who have the power to prevent this and should feel responsible, that is, States and Leaders. We are advocates of these demands, and we declare that we will support leaders and states if they take these steps. We expect support from all conscientious people for this stance.#ActivateYourGovernmenthttps://lnkd.in/dgm5SZSE

I'm tired of trying to reason with unreasonable people, so I'm not going to do it anymore. MAGAts refuse to listen to facts or truth. They simply won't do it. They deflect, project, and will not engage in thoughtful, rational discourse about the complex realities of today's political milieu. They cannot--or will not--consider the reality of Trump's diabolical behavior and deeply troubling psychological issues. They refuse to believe that he is an insurrectionist and a traitor, and that he prefers dictators to statesmen. They don't believe Trump is a racist or that he is a proven liar and cheat. They overlook or dismiss the fact that he is a convicted fraud and sex offender. They don't believe he stole, hid, then lied about classified documents. They quote Fox so-called News talking points instead of addressing the issues in a rational manner. They engage in whataboutism whenever Trump's obvious egregious actions are pointed out. It is infuriating to try to deal with MAGAts, and I'm done with it. I will no longer try to engage in discussions with them. It's a waste of time and energy. Instead, I will focus my efforts on working to ensure Democratic victories across the board on November 5th so we can save the U.S. from the horrible, unthinkable fate that would surely befall us if Trump were to cheat his way into the White House again. Don't even bother trying to talk to me, MAGAts. I will block you if you try. I have no use for you.

Republicans and conservatives praise Donald Trump for doing a rally a week after he was shot, saying he is bold and strong. "Who would do that?" they ask, implying he is extraordinary. A psychopath/sociopath might do that; they experience stress and anxiety significantly less than the average person. Maybe this is also why Trump was able to stage his own 'strong man'-persona immediately after he got shot.Check out this interesting video:https://lnkd.in/dbeefzd2

“Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle.” ―George R.R. Martin,It is easy to imagine that many of us are tired of a political culture so broken and anti-other that every problem seems impossible. It is here, right now, with stubborn, potentially dangerous ideology, mutual mistrust, partisanship, and isolation. How can we ever broach the tough subjects when we are so far apart, facing social disconnect, despair, and real and figurative heartburn. Where do we even start the conversation? #SenatorChrisMurphy (D-Conn.), and Republican #GovenorSpencerCox of Utah, are seeking to expand a national conversation for “restoring the common good.” They agree that there is room between right and left to work and move forward on truly critical issues. One simple (but not easy) tactic has been a call for us to “disagree better” – meaning to argue substantively without holding each other in contempt, without dangerous rhetoric, and without threats. If we can remove the distraction of ‘the personal’ from the equation, we can focus on the ‘possible and practical.’ Let’s #restorethecommongood and #simplydisagreebetter

Nothing Surprises Me Anymore When It Comes to WashingtonI wish I were the Republican candidate because beating the Democratic candidate would be a piece of cake. But Trump, despite being an old man with serious mental issues, can’t seem to get his act together. He’s always talking nonsense, fixated on ridiculous things like mosquitoes, and struggling to keep up with Kamala Harris—who, frankly, is a walking disaster.Trump’s self-centeredness and poor choices, including picking a vice-presidential candidate who’s about as competent as a character out of a comedy film, have only made things worse. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden, who just pled guilty, is essentially laughing in your face. He knows he won’t face real consequences because either his father or Kamala will pardon him. He could get caught with even more hookers and cocaine, and nothing would change—he’s not going to jail.None of these swamp creatures will face real punishment. Everything is rigged, like a Hollywood production with all the best actors and directors. The real power lies with people like Larry Fink, Mark Cuban, and other billionaires who pull the strings and run the country. It’s all controlled and planned to fit their interests while the rest of you are left in the dark.#PoliticalTheater #SwampPolitics #PowerPlayers #WashingtonFarce #Election2024 #BillionaireInfluence #CorruptionUncovered #HunterBiden #TrumpHarris #RiggedSystem
